Ministry Security Conference (MSC): Introduction
The Center for Personal Protection & Safety (CPPS) has earned a place of respected leadership in the arena of equipping churches, mission groups, worldwide ministries, denominations, and Christian schools by offering a mix of regional training, supplemental training and nationally recognized media presentations.
Reverend Jerry McConnell has directed the Ministry Outreach focus for CPPS since 2007 and is passionate about sharing the message of awareness, confidence and hope. Reverend McConnell understands the critical nature of this subject matter, drawing on his more than thirty years of experience as a full-time pastor in a variety of churches, large and small.
The focus of our efforts is to establish benchmarks and provide the finest training, resources, services and expertise to churches, schools and ministries of all sizes regarding security and safe travel guidance. More than thirty-three percent of the largest churches in America, as well as numerous major mission organizations are currently benefiting from the message that CPPS offers. Based on the reputation of CPPS, this division has become the fastest growing aspect of our organization.
The Ministry Security Conferences (MSCs) are the cornerstone of our Ministry Division. Held nationally, they feature industry leading media training solutions, including Shots Fired, Flash Point, Silent Storm and Safe Passage. Pastors, Executive Staff, Security Directors, Ushers and other staff and volunteers from churches, schools and ministries of all sizes have received invaluable learning opportunities through MSC training.
